Walks provide dogs with more than physical exercise. They offer opportunities to explore, sniff, investigate their surroundings, and experience the world at their own pace.
A good walk can support your dog’s physical health, mental stimulation, and overall quality of life.
Our social dog walking service offers valuable support for owners who are struggling with behavioural challenges such as aggression, reactivity, fear and difficulties with socialisation.
Rather than simply providing routine dog walks, our primary focus is on addressing and improving behavioural issues while promoting positive social experiences in a safe and controlled environment.
Our dog walking service aims to make these everyday adventures enjoyable, enriching, and appropriate for each dog’s individual needs by providing a safe and suitable environment that promotes positive socialisation by grouping dogs according to their temperament and behaviour.
At Pawsland, we recognise that not every dog enjoys the same walking environment or pace. We take individual personalities, abilities, and preferences into consideration when planning suitable enrichment walks. That`s why not everyday the same like the another one.
Depending on your dog’s needs and the agreed arrangement, walks can provide opportunities for:
– Physical exercise appropriate to your dog.
– Sniffing and exploring.
– Mental stimulation and enrichment.
– Practising everyday walking skills.
– Building confidence in suitable environments.
– Enjoying outdoor time and new experiences.
– Maintaining a consistent routine.
We consider your dog’s age, fitness, temperament, health, and walking experience when discussing their needs.
Safety and welfare are central to our approach. Walks are planned with suitable routes, responsible handling, and consideration for your dog’s comfort.
Whether your dog enjoys a relaxed sniffing walk or needs a more structured outing, the aim is to provide a positive experience suited to them.
To ensure the best possible experience for each dog, walks are carefully structured, with dogs grouped according to their temperament, behaviour, energy levels, and physical needs.
For high-energy dogs that need an extra outlet for their drive and stamina, we also offer dedicated pack runs designed to meet their specific needs.
Please understand that dogs are not assigned to time slots based solely on owner preference. Every dog has individual needs, and their well-being must always come first. For example, it would be neither fair nor appropriate to expect a 12-year-old senior dog to lead-walk alongside a highly energetic one-year-old simply because it suits the owner’s schedule.
We prioritise the welfare, safety, and individual requirements of every dog when organising our walks. Thank you for understanding and respecting our approach.
