1-2-1 Dog Training

Personalised Training for You and Your Dog

Don’t push so hard. Go with your own pace...
And always keep in mind.
We're not actually training our dogs.
We're training ourselves. 🐾❤️

1-2-1 🐾
Individual Training

Every dog is individual and learns differently. Our one-to-one training sessions are tailored around your dog’s individual needs, your lifestyle, and the goals you want to achieve together as it is all about strengthening the companionship to be able to achieve a sustainable life style together.

Whether you’re welcoming a new dog into your family, working on everyday manners, or developing existing skills, personalised training provides the opportunity to learn at a pace that suits you both.

Life doesn’t always follow a straight path; it comes with its share of ups and downs. As we navigate these challenges, it’s equally important for our teammates, who share this journey with us, to remain flexible, adapt, and grow along the way.

At Pawsland, we believe training should strengthen the bond between dogs and their people while helping dogs feel safe, confident, and understood.

WHAT CAN WE WORK ON?

Our individual training sessions can focus on:
– Basic positive guidance and everyday manners. (I don`t like to use the term obedience!)
– Recall training.
– Loose-lead walking.
– Settling and relaxation.
– Impulse control and focus.
– Confidence-building exercises.
– Appropriate greetings with people and dogs.
– Improving communication between you and your dog.
– Developing useful skills for everyday life.

TRAINING THAT WORKS FOR YOU

We begin by understanding your goals and assessing your dog’s current abilities. From there, we develop practical exercises that you can continue practising at home and in everyday situations.

Our approach prioritises positive reinforcement, consistency, patience, and realistic expectations.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining existing skills, we’ll help you work towards steady, meaningful progress.

BUILD SKILLS TO STRENGTHEN THE BOND

Training is more than teaching commands. It’s about helping you and your dog understand one another and enjoy life together.

PS: For advanced training protocols, you can work with an ABTC-registered Animal Training Instructor (ATI) who promotes humane, evidence-based training methods. These approaches prioritise the dog’s emotional well-being and psychological health, offering a positive alternative to traditional methods that may cause stress, fear, or other psychological harm. 👉 https://abtc.org.uk/practitioners/
